It is well known that you need a card in order to pay or receive payments online. I went to Raiffeisen Bank(in Romania, my country) to open an account and a Visa Electron debit card. One of the women from customer's service was busy with another client, so I had to wait. Suddenly that client got up from the chair saying "This is impossible", and went out of the bank. I sat down in front of the office, and that woman explained me that I have several options for my account. There were 4 options. I said her that I want to use that card for online payments inside and outside the country. She told me that I need to open another account in another currency for paying outside the country. That was stupid. I told her about PayPal, but she didn't know how that works. She told me something that the bank charges me something like 40$ for and external paying. That was stupid again. How the hack ? But I hadn't time to speak more with her because she observed that I'm a minor. She apologised that she didn't observe that, and told me that I need parent's approval to open an account. For that she wrote an application that my parent should have signed, but after she wrote that she told me to come with one of my parrents at the bank. I want to mention that in my country, every person over 16 has penal rights. That means I can be prosecuted as I do something wrong. Although, the bank asks for the parent's approval.
